When introduced in 1962, the Adidas Samba Trainers were the first training shoes developed for frozen pitches. Eventually the Adidas Samba developed and established itself as the dominate indoor football shoe. Since then the Samba has evolved from its original purpose as a training shoe to a terrace staple and has gone on to become a modern day street classic in it's own right.
